Comic enthusiasts rejoice! The fifth annual James O’Keefe Comic Contest is accepting submissions once again.
Artists and comic enthusiasts may contribute a variety of submission types, including collages, short stories and hand-drawn or digital works.
There is no entry fee, and participants may enter group or individual works. Participants also have the option to work with arts and illustration instructor Arthur King on first drafts, which the contest judges strongly recommend.
First draft submissions must be delivered to Art-103 by Dec. 2. Final drafts are due to English Department room 136 by Wednesday, Jan 21. First draft pickups are on Dec. 9 and 10. Submissions must be labeled as funny or unfunny.
