Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, we at The Inquirer dig through our exhaustive photo archive for amazing art depicting the campus and the East Bay.

Today: They fight each other with shinai, or bamboo sticks, for our entertainment. Each of them wear long, draping robes, or Hakama. The Kendo club hold demonstrations of their skill and talent during club days and events. Club members look to bring the fundamentals of this ancient martial art into a modern age.
