Wednesday, March 31, is the deadline to apply for a “Certificate in Transfer Studies,” which allows students who have completed IGETC or CSU GE to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Transfer Center coordinator Regan Ronayne said the certificate replaced the associate degree in transfer studies in fall 2008.

Consequently, students who transfer after completing only their general education requirements must apply for a certificate to participate in the graduation ceremony.

It is important for students who are transferring to apply for this certificate because it provides information about where students are transferring that can be used to improve the services offered by the Transfer Center, Ronayne said.
