Santiago Jacobo, a 37-year-old resident of Pittsburg, was found dead with stab wounds at Pleasant Hill Park, 147 Gregory Lane, at approximately 4:50 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10.
According to the Pleasant Hill Police press release issued Saturday, Santiago worked on the janitorial staff at the park, and when he didn’t return home from his late shift Friday night, his wife grew concerned.
She went to the park early Saturday morning, where she discovered Jacobo lying unconscious in the main parking lot and called 911, according to the press release.
The Pleasant Hill police and medical personnel reported to the scene and declared the man dead. An examination of the victim revealed that he had sustained stab wounds, the police reported.
